Merchandise would be a great way of getting conversations started!
Also, I've heard it said that giving away freebies has this way of making journalists more likely to take a point of view on board. Not as good as free beer though :booze:

Are you confusing 'bless' with 'test'?

What about transparencies for putting on the inside rear screen of your car.
I'm talking about the sort which peel of easily and don't make a sticky mess.
How often do you sit in a queue of traffic reading stuff on the back of other peoples cars?

Well done Thomas, drag this lot back on topic!
Mugs would be good too - another way of getting conversations started.

I'm happy to split the difference and rephrase it as "People with boring jobs need hot, caffeinated beverages by the pint" ;)

I have some "critical thinking" wristbands from JREF...they get a lot of attention - maybe we could get a job-lot as they say from JREF as we stand for similar principles. No need to do our own - but promoting the very core of what we are about is very important...
I vote for the Randi beard on Teek picture to be put on Tee-shirts for the summer party as the unofficial UKS attire.....;D :D
Edited a typo.....

Those wristbands are sooo 2005.
I have a really funny one that Jeff Wagg sent to me, it says Jesus Is The Way. I wear it for irony purposes but they really are out of fashion now.
How about deely-boppers? O0

Actually the wristbands work well as they are discreet and it is a common perception that people wear them due to some 'cause' they hold dear.
I often get asked about mine - because people are intrigued....then i mention skepticism and critical thinking. Indeed some colleagues have started to endorse it as well.
No bad thing.....though Teek would probably cringe at the fact we all look sooooo Miami vice.... 8)
