Anyway, A few of my friends have been watching the videos "Zeitgeist" and "Esoteric Agenda", as well as referring to other videos by Greg Braden and other cranks. I havent had the time to watch all of the vids myself, but it smells almost like the forming of a cult to me. The videos are like engineered pieces of propaganda, using lots of tricks to disarm viewers before making their claims. I found the main points difficult to follow. What is the overall theory that is being proposed here? It just seems to be a lot of vauge references to quantum physics and ancient mysticism, relating to a large NWO conspiracy incorporating many other crackpot theories. One of my friends even had the nerve to compare that Braden guy to Carl Sagan, which I found distressing to say the least!

The general theory is that a group of super bankers/jews/lizard people are secretly controlling the world with the nefarious end of bringing about a New World Order. Quite what this NWO is meant to be is never actually fully detailed.

I have it on good authority;) that that is part of the plan.

Which is, I think, why conspiracies theories continue to proliferate - whatever happens can be intepreted as 'part of the plan'. If something doesn't happen, well, that's either part of the plan too, or because the conspiracy theorists predicted/announced it and the NWO had to delay their plans. It's a win-win game for those of a CT disposition.
