Union or league? I don't mind a bit of Rugby League but I'll only watch Union if it's a big international match.

Who do you follow?

I thought everyone in England was a Manchester United supporter.

Any motorsport fans? F1 and Moto GP for me.

Union most definitely. Although league is ok, I prefer the complexities of union, even if it can be dour a lot of the time at the moment.

I still play, so that would be my No 1 team.

After that, it's got to be Ireland, then Ulster. O0 Although I'll watch any game that's on, especially if it is in HD. I find HD works a lot better in rugby than football, probably because the camera is zoomed in and doesn't have to cover as much of the pitch as quickly.

The recent Ireland win over the dirty boks was pretty intense and enjoyable.

That Ireland win against SA was immense. Remember England SA 55 - 5 probably in 2002? Massive.

Ireland are the Northern hemisphere team of the moment, good on them, and, to be honest, about time too!!

6 Nations is going to be very interesting - can't wait.

There's drama in Rugby Union that just isn't matched in any other sport (imho). It's a very subjective view though.

Does this count?

Planning has started for a British tiddlywinks invasion of the US in September 2010. The last invasion was in 1985.http://www.tiddlywinks.org/

Murdering animals is sport. The rest is games.

Hunting humans? And feasting on their flesh?

Any motorsport fans? F1 and Moto GP for me.

4 wheels good, 2 wheels bad.

F1, GP2, A1GP, BTCC, WTC...

Yup, I like F1.

I also like watching yacht racing. This is quite unusual as for most people it's very boring.

The only time I think I've been to an England game was at Murrayfield when they got beat in the rain and wind about 7 or 8 years ago O0

I don't really go to the games any more as it's just too expensive. There isn't a problem getting seats at Murrayfield these days either, but 60 odd quid for a seat is extortionate.

I really appreciate many of the games these days even though people are saying the game is too dull - there's an awful lot going on in the games to appreciate still I find, from the physical aspects to the way that different teams approach different games.

Not many football fans here are there? Odd!

I used to love football, I'll still watch it, but to be honest I would probably rather watch many other sports in preference. I don't know if it is a by-product of getting older, becoming more self-aware of critical thinking or something else, but rest assured there is so much nonsense talked about football by grown men. They can't even implement a water-tight set of rules into the game and 99% of people who talk about and are involved in the game don't even seem to know the laws that do exist. It's all very unsatisfactory I find.

I support Millwall, so you probably correct, not many football fans.

I also happen to be built more like a darts player, although not very good with arrows.

golf and snooker? they are pastimes, not sports. same as darts. we should get some better sports in the olympics - tug of war, bog snorkelling, cheese rolling, fox hunting - bettter than all that daft javelin chucking stuff (who on earth does that as a sport anyway?)

Are many games telecast over there? Do you follow any team in particular?

Bog snorkelling. I had to look that up...it is marginally better than than what I imagined.
Cheese rolling is a great spectator sport. People falling out of control at high speed down a mountain is always amusing.

The Aussie rules games are on espn or eurosport every so often, it would be a weekly round up style program with one full match as well, as for who i`d support, probably Geelong after watching them in the final, although we are hoping to emigrate to Adelaide in 5 or 6 years

I am not sporty at all. I ask the question, if Tiger Woods leaves golf, what difference to the world does that make? We have all heard of Tiger Woods however, as he can put a little white ball down a hole in the ground with great accuracy. Then there are people like Fred Sanger - two Nobel Prizes and not exactly a house hold name.

And all you do is eat carrots and say "what's up doc?" :cheesy:

After Bunny next changes avatar, people new to this forum, will think me mad.
