Always a childhood favourite, the ghost/monster/alien always seemed to be Old Mr Crabbity the caretaker trying to scare people away from his secret gold mining operation.
And these days of course thanks to the miracle of rhyming slang Scooby means clue which endears him to me even more.
However when they changed the format so that all the ghosts were real, I felt betrayed.
Nonetheless I just love this portrayal on Very Demoviational (http://verydemotivational.com/2010/02/01/demotivational-posters-meddling-kids) of a grizzled and world weary Velma and Shaggy as the last survivors of the Scooby gang holding out against the zombie apocalypse.

So much so that I had to check the comments and see where it came from. Apaprently a chap called Dr Monster (http://www.flickr.com/photos/zom-bot/3919747363/in/photostream/) who's selling it as a T Shirt on Threadless (http://www.threadless.com/product/2094/We_ve_Got_Some_Work_To_Do_Now) Joy! I want one.
But Sadness, they've sold out of my size. What can I do but publicise it amongst a like minded audience in the hope that some of you are as obsese as me and also sign up for a re-print.
