Attaching an MP3.

Is it because it's an mp3 that I can't upload or is it too big (1.2MB)?

Apparently the maximum file size for mp3s is 4.77MB, so that's not your problem

ETA: It might help if you tells us how you are trying to do it. I've just tried myself but all my tunes are mp4 and won't upload.

I've gone to 'post reply' then attachments and there's a box to upload files - which I've done.

At first it seems all enthusiastic and the little red line romps along but as it completes the journey I get a huffy little red (!) telling me the download failed. >:-)

I tried some gruesome editing after have hunted down some free software leaving it a shadow of it's former self so I'm glad it's not still to big.

I don't know why but it doesn't seem to like MP3s.

I'll see if I can sort it - even though the uploading of MP3s is enabled.
