A - what the bloodred sunset has this got to do with skepticism?
B - Isn't there anyone who likes real music?

Yeah, it's an off-topic section, but isn't it a bit odd to introduce yourself to a specialist forum with a completely off-topic er, topic?
I suppose the word "song" should have warned me to keep away. Although the search engines and audition sampling facilities on such bastions of high culture as Amazon appear not to know it, music does not consist entirely of "songs". There are, amazingly enough, pieces of music which do not have a vocal, and which - horrors! - last more than 4 or 5 minutes. Even stranger, they may be celebrated primarily as the work of the person who wrote them, rather than the performer.
Were it suggested to any reasonably intelligent, reasonably educated person, that their habitual reading was the Sun or the Star, they would very properly deny it with some indignation. So why are so many of them satisfied with what is a pretty close musical equivalent of tabloid journalism?
Meh - I don't have 'all time' favourites, I tend to have a 'favourite of the moment' depending on mood (and beer)
Right now, with the weather, I'm in a more relaxed mood so most Pink Floyd and Led Zep - after a few more beers it may move to something rockier like AC\DC and Sabbath (probably something to do with seeing Iron Man this week) and some of the more martial Classic music - O Fortuna, 1812 Overture, bit's of The Planet Suite mebbe the Anvil chorus.
My 'favourite at the moment' is a bit poppy but fun, Let's dance to Joy Division by The Wombats :)
