Farside, I don't think it is too late! Some credit where it is due. It is marvellous that the believers have questioned Mannion like true skeptics. I get the distinct impression that the efforts of Matt, yourself and Bindeweede, plus others, have started to really break through.

I do not expect the believers to be renouncing completely anytime soon, but if they start to apply the same level of critical thinking to mediums and psychics more widely, we might start to see some real change.

Yet again Gary says that his lies were mistakes. This repeated behaviour shows him up as a fraud and not deluded. This plus the amazing growing list of powers he has claimed over time. Just like a business diversifying.

As to the home improvement companies, what's the betting he did a bit of painting work! That's home improvement, and if you did it self employed, you would be practically running the company!!

However, I really need more detail to counter Gary's claims:

"Table salt isn't real salt, it's just sodium chloride, which has been called salt".

What does he mean by real salt? Sea salt? Rock salt?

Table salt is very pure Sodium Chloride (NaCl), sometimes mixed with rice. It is purified from sea salt or rock salt. What Mannion is talking about I'm not sure.
