I've just seen this on BadPsychics and was so outraged I want to share it with as many people as possible. This video was posted on YouTube yesterday:

Does Cosmic Charlie seriously think that H.M. Govt. are going to overturn the recent legislation if enough signatures are presented?It would be political suicide to give the opposition such an opportunity to score points,particularly now that Sibley's video is in itself a very emotive argument as to the need for regulation of the industry.A journo for 'the Sundays' wouldn't need to exaggerate much at all - 'His sickening claims to be in contact with murdered children ended with a diatribe against Christianity'.

If Spiritualism is a religion as Sibley contends,then surely it is merely a survival of ancestor worship as practiced in earlier cultures?In this case rather than placating the spirits of the dead because they may otherwise harm the living,there is the desire for interaction due to the purported knowledge that the shades possess, all viewed through a layer of saccharine-sweet Victorian melodrama that ignores all traditions concerning the 'Shadow- Side' of supposed Supernature.
Testing mediums/psychics- surely this was done with negligible results during the Cold War?Let's face it,it will be an impossibility to gain consensus as to the protocols,let alone with the acceptance of negative results.
This looks like developing into an interesting debate,both here and in the wider world.
