No! Sorry, I don't like pet cats. They cause enormous damage to wildlife.

    Mulder you have no soul.

I love Quokkas! I once visited Rottnest Island where you can approach them easily. It could be because they've eliminated feral cats there ...

    Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! *asphyxiates*

Cute things I would like to see posted but can't be bothered to find:

    Baby...oh all right juvenile...Ocelots
    Kiwis
    Kakapos
    Water rats
    Beavers (careful)
    Tree frogs

Alright, I went and looked some up. I swear what makes the kakapo so adorable is its apparent utter uselessness. It just looks like it has no clue what it's doing at all. http://youtube.com/watch?v=tQ9KfsXfTwA

You'll have noticed that none of my cat avatars portrayed them in a positive light.

    Good old dogs though.

Agree on the Dogs :) Much better than cats. Here's what I grew up with, a brother and sister pair

You're not going to like this but I don't like dogs either. I find it annoying that I can't walk through a park without some great hound, the size of a small cow, coming bounding up menacingly towards me while its owner, a long way off, shouts 'don't worry, it won't hurt you!'. As for walking through their 'droppings' ... yuk!

I love nature - can't get enough of it - but cats and dogs ... yuk!

You're being very contrary today Mulder. Post a picture as ooky-wooky-cutsie as the lickle baby finger-monkeys up-screen and make us all happy?

    Ah go on...

    Re: Gratuitous Kitten Picture Post

I'm not being contrary, I'm just revealing something about myself that you didn't know. I've always disliked pet cats and dogs. I am, however, never happier than when I manage to get close to a wild animal. There is something extraordinary, maybe primeval, in staring into the eyes of a wild creature. It is like no other experience you can have.

Mulder you a off topic and not nearly cute enough for this thread. Banished until you grow fur and big round eyes (or tiny, tiny little hands).
