    Group of the day

    http://paranormal.meetup.com/569/about/

A secret group interested in 'spirit research'. Why secret, I wonder?

What irritated me was that they denigrate "bird watching", as if it is merely a casual hobby compared to their 'serious' (and secret) study. They have clearly never met any serious birdwatchers who regularly, and cheerfully, visit the remotest corners of the planet in search of birds.

    HA!
    This group WINS!

They're called P.I.S.T (Paranormal Investigation Society of Toronto-what else?)

Only on name ... they're not even secret! I wonder if being a 'secret' ghost hunting society is going to be the next big thing? It stops all those pesky requests for good evidence.

For some groups you'd think the Meetup websites would be redundant though...

    http://remoteviewing.meetup.com/

Meet other local people who are interested in Remote Viewing, the psychic ability to perceive places, persons and actions that are not within the range of the senses.

“Meetup has allowed me to find other interested people whom otherwise I would not have ever met”

Mike Wilson, The Royal Oak Remote Viewing Meetup Group

    http://astralprojection.meetup.com/

Meet others who believe in the ability to leave the body and walk the astral plane.

“Nice turn out. Glad of such a positive atmosphere too. ”
