Man held in headless body probe
A man has been arrested in connection with the murder inquiry into a headless corpse found behind a shopping parade, Scotland Yard said.
Police launched a murder investigation when a member of the public found a headless man wrapped in blankets in Kingsgate Place, Kilburn, north-west London, on Wednesday.
A man believed to be in his 40s was arrested at an address in Alvaston, Derby.
A man and a woman were also arrested at the address for allegedly assisting an offender.
They are being taken to a local police station and it is expected they will be taken to London later on Friday.
Police were called after the decapitated body of a man was found behind shops in a gold-coloured cage, similar to those used to move stock around in shops, and wrapped up in a duvet/blanket type material.
A post-mortem investigation on Thursday at St Pancras Mortuary was unable to establish a cause of death.
I'd have thought that it was obvious ???
