    'The Real Hustle Needs You!!!'

BBC THREE’s flagship show ‘The Real Hustle’ is back for a huge new Series and we are looking for enthusiastic people to take part!

We’ve already starting filming and if you want to appear on television, then you can help us by setting up your families, friends or colleagues for some of the most fun and outrageous hustles we’ve attempted yet.

In particular, we are looking for someone who believes in psychics & would be willing to part with their cash to find out more!!

If you know of anyone fitting the bill, get in touch NOW!

By simply emailing me at malamistry@objectiveproductions.com A.S.A.P. and we’ll get back to you right away!

I do enjoy this show, but have to ask if this is the usual MO for the Real Hustle, I thought the show targetted their "marks" in the same way as real criminals rather than having friends and family set them up.

I do have a sister in law who's attended mediums and thinks there's something to it. She's also quite wealthy.

However I'm worried I'd be risking a family feud by setting her up. On the one hand if she got caught out by TRL I'd want my involvement to be a secret, on the other hand if when watching this episode the involvement of friends and families in setting people up for the fall, is not revealed on air I shall feel a little cheated.

I thought the same. Wouldn't having someone nominate a victim negate the premise of the show - to demonstrate how the real 'hustle' ( cold reading ) is carried out?

If someone here, or elsewhere, suggests a 'mark', doesn't that just leave the programme open to a legitimate accusation of hot-reading, rather than it being a valid exposure of the cold-reading techniques that 'psychics' use?

I have seen the show a few times though, and quite enjoyed it, so I hope this can be done in a constructive and worthwhile way.

The idea of a scam based on the Real Hustle drips with irony and then sceptics being sceptical of it, is the icing on the cake. I think Mala needs to come up with better evidence. .

And then the thought occurs to me, wouldn't it be fun to nominate a real sceptic pretending to be a believer and scam the scammers - O! my head's going to explode with this one

Good point, Bunny, Mala could easily fall-foul of this kind of deception.

I'm keen to help though, so if Mala would care to send me the appropriate remuneration ( used tenners will do ), I'll be happy to advise him or her on how to avoid any pitfalls, and carry out the perfect psychic scam.

Re: 'the Real Hustle Needs You!!!'

Whenever I see The Real Hustle or shows similar to it, I remember that whoever is "hustled" has to give permission for that clip to be shown, so cynically I sometimes feel we are the ones set up to believe that the "marks" had no idea whatsoever.

Unfortunately I know of few people who actually believe in psychics, but I am tempted to pretend to be friends with Sylvia Browne for a day and set her up
