Shame.
I mean, it was going to be a scientific investigation to prove ghosts are there!
I bet they've got meters and everything.
Stewart Bradley who is a member of the UK Paranormal Society: "The UK Paranormal Society is very interested in conducting an investigation. We would like to try and contact the spirits and interact with them to find out the facts about who they are and what they are doing at Ayscoughfee."
A scientific hypothesis there.![]()
.
"Scientific experiment... to prove there are ghosts"??Council bosses have put a stop to a scientific experiment hoping to discover whether Ayscoughfee Hall is haunted.
Spalding spiritualist Stewart Bradley wants to conduct an overnight investigation at the hall to prove there are ghosts living there.
What ever happened to the good old null hypothesis?

Im glad the refused permission, the "investimagator" is a spiritualist. I have no doubt that if permission was granted he would declare the place to be haunted by Louis Armstrong, or whoever's voice he had been practising at the time. Kudos the the museum staff.![]()
De omnibus dubitandum
I ALWAYS so no to ghost hunters no matter how many drinks they've bought me.![]()
"If I get rid of the cancer and the person decides they don’t want treatment any more ‐ either they’re too busy, or they’re too mean with their money, or they just think they know better ‐ the cancer often comes back. And if it comes back, I can’t get rid of it a second time. My healing doesn’t work a second time."
