And I've just found a nice feature on this board: when I tried to post that last message, it told me that while I was typing there had been a reply that I might want to read before posting.

Yes, this is a cracking board system. Quite simple but fully featured.

I'm still getting the database error. :(

(Shouldn't this be under 'General Discussion...?' )

It won't let me in either, though it does say

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, whom you can also contact if the problem persists.
    so presumably they're aware.

Actually, we could do with an off-topic board.

I've got to get back to work but I'll put one up now.

It's been suggested I lack imagination you know, I can't understand why.

What does the Alt Gr key do btw? I’ve held it down while poking things and nothing seems to change.
Hang on, I’ve just thought of another combination, I’ll try it and see what hap

It's one of those keys that you get blind to.

    I found this: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...590631033.aspx

Under the United Kindom section it shows a few handy uses for it. Like 'Alt Gr' + 'e' = é

Very handy for writing séance when not using MS Word.

    Welcome btw.

    Hi guys :)

Another one from JREF so it's nice to see some familiar faces avatars

Hi also Alt Gr and Leg :) Do you guys post anywhere else too, or have you been waiting for the advent of a UK sceptics' board?

Hi Leg and Alt Gr, and hello again Mongrel!

I assume Leg is the same leg that's recently been introduced to the JREF forum.
