    The Trial of Christopher Hansard

According to the tradition of the Northern Treasure School of Old Bon (the Jangter Bon of northern Asia) when a tribal chieftain has committed or been accused of crimes for which he has provided no response or redress, and he appears to be outside the influence of the community judiciary, then a special kind of trial is held.

This is always done under the protection of the Nine Masang Brothers, the Tibetan Dieities or Spirits ruling the area at the time, in order to avoid the unfluence of the Chieftain's secret agents and magicians, or demons working in his service.

Taking place on the psychic plane, similar to a theatrical performance but with much ritual and ceremony, evidence is presented. The official oracle may be called in to stand-in (channel) for the accused and also the accusers to determine the righteousness of their intent and hear their point of view.

The accused may at anytime come forward and beg forgiveness, or may offer his own testimony. Either way, if he is found guilty and refuses to step down, the guilty verdict is heard by the forces of nature which then begin to produce 'winds' which will force the accused out of office, cause him to come forward and seek forgiveness, or move judiciary authorities to take action.

If he is found not guilty then the same winds move in the other direction, causeing the accusers to disperse.

It is believed by the Priests of this tradition that when done properly righteousness will always prevail and no lies can contaminate the proceedings.

Obviously this trial is not being held here at Sceptics but I thought you guys would get a kick out of hearing about this and since this is one of the few places where honest free speech still holds sway in respect to this story I thought I would make the announcement here.

    Weird ain't it?

A case of the woo leading the woo?
Be skeptical of the things you believe are false, but be very skeptical of the things you believe are true.

But I also think it is a way for certain people to give up an unhealthy addiction to this story and as they say in AA, give it over to a higher power.

    Whatever works, I say.

If you're concerned about 'addiction' mahakala, then why have you started yet another thread on the subject? If anyone seems to have an unhealthy attachment to the subject I would venture it would be someone who only posts here after being continually picked off of other forums.

Most have moved on from the debate of whether or not your subject is 'guilty' of exploiting a false authority, identity and credentials in order to gain sexual favours from his clients. The discussion has evolved to how to best support his victims now and dealing with the real aftermath of the abuse that has been reported in the wake of his fraud in 3 publications. Tibetan Art of Serenity, Tibetan Art of Positive Thinking, and Tibetan Art of Living.

    "WHAT IS TIBETAN DUR BON?
Join us for this three and one-half day intensive seminar with Christopher
Hansard, Medical Director of the world renowned Eden Medical Centre in
Chelsea, London, England and Master Physician of Tibetan Medicine. According to the Bon (pre-Buddhist) Tibetan tradition in which Christopher was trained, a person of this quality comes along only once every 700 years. Hansard is a Lha-Khu - an incarnation of the energy of medicine, specially chosen and trained from an early age to transform his vast knowledge into human experience. A Lha-Khu is described as a bolt of lightning because he possesses a powerful energy. He consciously designs his life before being born and creates the right processes to fulfill his purpose. Coming at a time of great worldwide upheaval and dissatisfaction, the Lha-khu shows people how consciousness manifests itself in illness and thereby awakens them to their innate healing potential. Christopher Hansard is returning to Canada after 8 years to continue his teachings and healing relating to ancient, pre-Tibetan Dur Bon Medicine."
Evidently he has plagiarised information from various sources and made it his own. He is no different than any other snake oil peddler in that regard. Perhaps what is fascinating is the continuing obsession of those who followed his teachings to defend him and their legitimacy.

There seems to be a definite resistance to simply accepting that he and his teachings had no basis in reality. It was smoke and mirrors, self indulgence, and self deception. It sounds like he preyed upon those who wanted to believe in 'magic' and the innate goodness of others.

    It would certainly seem so.

And perhaps it has proved a lesson in 'buyer beware', and those who once followed will not do so again. Reformed woo's?
    Let's hope so.
In the meantime a real trial just might do the trick as opposed to what has been taking place online. "Whatever works", indeed.

Hope you all play nice now, all this while Dav was underwater....

It was first observed by Kris that some of the people were probably the same and as old Dav had to play soldier during the year in the ITRM a lot of the traffic come from the same areas...

What we do know is they are all creeps of the nastiest kind
