Oh the poor church, I suppose they can always chop up another body and sell the bits of saints again and of course the sinners can always buy there way into heaven then if the worse comes they can always sell a few trinkets, Oh how my heart bleeds purple piss for them..
I am very simpathetic for them, NOT.

Is the Vatican selling off paintings yet?

That was one of my bone of contentions with religion - the wealth of the Vatican when people are starving.

I have been looking forward to the day when the Vatican holds auctions to sell off stuff because they need the money.

Sounds like it‘s not too far off.

Speaking of the vatican he's at it again... It all womans fault there to blame...
It cant be mans fault because I'm a man and I know I did not do it.

I don't eat a lot of fish it's expesive so have a fishy treat once a month. but then tried their "logic". His rules say that you must eat fish every friday since we are all catholics to him thats what we must be doing, must be great being in a delusion.

Vatican Science: Pope blames male infertility on... The Pill.

"Remember how all the Prozac we’ve been flushing through our systems (and our sewers) was entering the water supply and messing with the fish? Well, a new argument claims that this is precisely what’s going on with men who’re having a little trouble in the fertility department. And just who is making this rather dubious claim? None other than the Pope himself."

Proof that the pope believes in homeopathy. How else could such diluted solutions have any impact.

I have delighted in the fact that the R.C. church in the U.S. has been fined substantial sums in recent years as a result of child abuse cases. Believe this has run into billions. Let's hope that this trend continues and escalates.

Interesting concept: The once proud Catholic Church files for bankruptcy, administrators sell off as going concern to Islam!

Lets hope the fines continue, not the child abuse though.

I don't understand how so many priests commit their lives to God and then go and break God's rules, unless it is a trend for people to become priests with the intention of abusing children... Just seems quite contradictory.

    Re: God's Millions

There appear to be two strands to child abuse in the R.C. church. On one hand the opportunity for those already so inclined, and on the other the ridiculous suppression of natural sexual urges which is bound to create pent up tensions.

They'll get the message eventually. Just a shame so many have to suffer this and the equally ludicrous anti-birth control rules. Just as the abuse of children is despicable, so is the encouragement of poverty and over population.

I think the R.C church is largest in the world, couldn't they milk their followers dry to maintain their wealth?

Why don't they just turn to an adult, why choose children? I don't think celibacy causes it.
