Can anybody suggest a cheap chemist? I'm specifically looking for a drug called Malarone, the cheapest I've found it at is £1.99 per pill.

That is a good price in the UK. Given that you wish to travel to an area with malaria, one might suggest that you are likely to spend hundreds on airflight and accomodation - so while relatively expensive an extra 100 or so is not much.Originally Posted by NorthernSoul

You could buy clothing that is coated with anti 'flying things' solution. Works very well, I do this when I go to india and never get bitting. It is nice smelling lotions that tend to make things interested in you. So no soap that smells etc, etc. also impregnated fly net at night.
After much searching and comparing I found Boots online pharmacy was the cheapest chemist, for this particlar drug, online it is almost £200 cheaper than in srotre (for the 145 pills I needed)
