And THIS is the version of events you swallow?

Low flying plane cause big scare...

Go to abclocal com to see video (as i am not allowed to post it!!)

Um, don't even the most defensive of "government doing its best" amongst you find this just a little bit confusing as to the sheer cruelty and so called "incompetence" leading to this theatrical event? It must looked planned even to the most sceptical!! I mean LOOK AT IT!

And this news version is the one you go with, that explanation that they hand you on a platter is acceptable?

This little exercise just happens when the US and therefore the world is already on tenterhooks?!

And we are called nuts for thinking this isn't an accident? Please of course this was a planned exercise, the amount of fear it generated for the poor people of NY, bringing back terrible memories of the worst day of their lives 8 years ago and the looming threat that is always around since...this was to tap into that threat and bring a dose of fear back to the people. It will be a doddle now when the time is right, for the people to submit to total surrender of freedom to protect from this threat, leading us into world totalatarian government.

Have you never read what Kissinger said back in 1992?

    Henry Kissinger, May 21, 1992:

"Today Americans would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful. This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead with world leaders to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well being granted to them by their WORLD GOVERNMENT."

Why look for intentional fearmongering (by whom, and who was in on it?) when incompetence will do as an answer?

Has anyone here said any such thing?
'Croydon' Bob Newman. The ladies call him "Thrush" - as he's an irritating cunt.

I wish CTs wouldn't assume that being skeptical equates to swallowing 'the establishment' line on everything.

I'm quite as skeptical of government pronouncements as I am about wild NWO/Illuminati theories. The only difference being that it's usually possible to reach reasonable conclusions about government statements and motives, whereas the CT stuff is all smoke and mirrors.
Why are we here? Because we're here. Roll the bones...

Of course the event was planned - but those involved were too insensitive to think through the consequences.

When faced with "cock-up or conspiracy" incidents, cock-up wins out almost every time. That's just the human condition...

Sounds so much livelier somehow than incompetence !

Kissinger is well-versed in NWO conspiracy theories and gets a kick out of saying things like that to freak the believers out.

Same thing with plenty of other Bilderberg members. They LIKE people speculating that they rule the world, when really they're just a bunch of geezers on vacation.

I hear David Rockefeller, on the other hand, is fed up with the whispers.
