    A Skeptic's Limerick

There once was a skeptic named Lou,
Who was often called "believer" and "woo,"
    For daring to doubt,
    The "skeptics'" verdicts about,
Things no sane person could claim that they knew.
Absence of evidence is very useful for claiming that evidence doesn't exist. -Al Capone

Not many of us seem to understand that being open minded doesn't work by having firm conclusions about things that aren't easily explained.

Maybe this attitude can be fostered over time.Society does not encourage 'open mindedness'.

There, fixed your typos for you.
'Croydon' Bob Newman. The ladies call him "Thrush" - as he's an irritating cunt.

Being 'open minded' has nothing to do with any conclusion you draw about anything.

If you're wondering why people don't get your argument it's because your argument is wrong.

Anyway, back to the point of this thread:

There once was a skeptic named Lou,
Who was often called "believer" and "woo,"
    For daring to doubt,
    The "skeptics'" verdicts about,
Things no sane person could claim that they knew.

What do you think of this limerick? Discuss.

    Another Skeptic's Limerick

Gordon Brown gave this terrible warning
We've just weeks to avoid global warming
    But carbon taxes are fraud
    The science is flawed
    And a Gordon-free ice-age is dawning

There once was a whacko named mabus
both skeptics and atheists - he hates us
    He's really quite whacked
    Many forums he's jacked
where will he strike next? spamming anus!

(holy cow, I just googled "david mabus spam" and got like a bzillion results)
Do you ever get the feeling we're just really smart monkeys?
