Thread: Hydrocharger,

Gotta love the internet. The only surprise on this thread is that a satisfied customer (or two) hasn't turned up.
Mousse from a bowl is very nice, but to put it on a person is demented!

That's a really pathetic effort (again). The information is out there but you're not going to bother pointing us in the right direction even though you can be bothered to post crap over and over again on this thread?

There's nothing out there to support the hydrocharger HHO scam that wasn't written by scammers making money out of the innocent and vunerable.

When I asked that question you were talking about University of Canterbury! It's a lot easier now I know you mean Uni of Kent ...

    Re: Hydrocharger,

It seems a lot of people have been looking into these systems and testing them. Though there does seem to be some science behind the altered fuel burn characteristis claim, the practical results of tests don't look good - see here for instance for some excellent links and comments. I wonder if the apparent lack of practical improvements may because the engine is already highly optimised. It might require a redesign to take advantage of any changed burn characteristics. Some of the improved fuel use seen by satisfied users may come from the course they go on where they are shown lots of fuel saving tips.

    Re: Hydrocharger,

The full title of my Alma Mater used to be the University of Kent at Canterbury or UKC for short. I see they've simplified since my day.

    http://www.kent.ac.uk/

They do indeed have alink to this story which leads us to the Oil Drum site Haryy Turned up.

The seemingly satisfied customer featured in the Uncritical Local news coverage appears to be Dodd's Transport

Searching for more info finds this piece.

Damn I just cannot keep away! The Silence in this forum from some is now deafening

I rest my case! or is it a case of University of Kent scammers and Dodds Transport scammers and Oil Drum Scammers.

I think not and its exactly the same HHO technology or do we have perpetual motion HGV trucks on the road. I think not.

It even got an innovation award

I have gone a step further and had a chat with other operators who run this and guess what, they like it. Even went along to see one of the trucks and speak to a driver.

A look at claims to being open minded

I think it's rather apt regarding this product.

    Re: Hydrocharger,

    I call bullshit again!

Have I missed something here? To me this looks like yet another HHO scam company, a deceived/mistaken/fabricated/in-on-the-scam haulier and a reference to UKC which has no foundation (who from what department did what research?).

They claim to achieve an extra 10% in fuel economy, the lowest figure I have ever seen associated with one of these products and well within the bounds of experimental error and wishful thinking... but where is this 10% extra coming from, is it magic? Bullshit!

    Re: Hydrocharger,

visit kent uni as i did today no fabricated references, do proper due diligence rather than just scour the Internet speak directly to real users as i did today

For hauliers as for any business the accounts show all so i doubt a highly professional outfit like Dodds would be deceived

error? on one truck maybe but not across a fleet!

even a 5% saving would be massive with the MPL and mileage trucks these trucks do and would be worth it.

    BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!! BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!! BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not retarded. What researcher? Which department? Where is the paper? I'll wager you have never been to Kent Uni. I'll bet you can't even name the building you say went to today, can you? You are so full of shit it is baffles me why you are still here trying to win a lost argument.

What makes Dodds so special that they cannot be mistaken/fooled/conned/in-on-the-scam?

It is only 10%. Why could this not be a mistake? As I say, well within the bounds of experemental error. Do you know what that even means?

And, most important question of all:

WHERE IS THE EXTRA 10% OF ENERGY COMING FROM?? IS IT MAGIC ENERGY?

It's hard to call bullshit when your shoes are already covered in it by the mere fact that you already posted in a particular thread.

1st law of thermodynamics. Yeah, I think that guy Al is right!!

End of thread and of pathetic sockpuppeteering.*

    al

*sockpuppeteering... word officially purported to be firstly proclaimated by Al, according to Al

    Re: Hydrocharger,

Still no explanation as to where the 10% extra energy is coming from. In my experience asking this is where the argument usually ends. I don't expect to hear from Sam/Mark Adams again as there is no answer to it, other than "magic" of course.

So I have found the article that s/he is referring to but the site won't let me post links yet (grrrr), I warn you it makes for very depressing reading but it proves nothing other than the folks handing out business awards at UKC are retarded. Try adding a "www" to the following:
