Nice one. Read the comments too.

Wow. They really aren't above lying to their viewers. It's one thing if they're deluded and actually believe it, but isn't there some kind of law against deliberately presenting a lie as factual evidence to the unsuspecting public? I guess not.
I don't watch this rubbish, but I assumed that they made disclaimers on these shows, that it is "for entertaining porpoises". If the show does anything psychic, I think they would have to under UK Law.
Welcome to UKS Marzipan
BTW: It is my friend JackOfKent's birthday (39), could you go lay on his cake for the day.

Hi Marzipan too
Had this issue with "lay" before. It should be in the multiple meanings thread! In America I offered to lay the table in the house of an elderly couple we were visiting. I thought they were going to have apoplexy!![]()
You weird people, Marzipan is laid on cakes, no sexual reference, just cake references.
May everyone enjoy a nice cake today, except for the diabetic people and the dairy intolerant ones.

Thanks for the warm welcomes and sorry for taking so long to reply.
polomint38, sorry for missing your friend's birthday...I only just read your post today. Maybe I can still lay on a pastry for him
Do Americans really not use the word "lay"?
