Union man here - despite the countless attempts of my Dad (a league apologist) to convert me.

"They collaborated with the Nazis you know"

"Thats nice Dad, have you heard of Godwins law?"

"Is that one of your psychology things?"

    Come on Ireland tomorrow!

My name is going to be on the back of Geordan Murphy's jersey
Mousse from a bowl is very nice, but to put it on a person is demented!

What I would like the final table to look like:

    France
    England
    Ireland
    Italy
    Scotland
    Wales

What I predict the final table will look like:

    France
    Ireland
    England
    Wales
    Italy
    Scotland

Team sport seems to have become something to watch with a beer in hand rather than play. I find myself increasingly bored and irritated by football and footballers. They all seem such a spoilt bunch that you wouldn't wanna have a pint and a chat with!
Perhaps the World Cup will re-kindle my enthusiasm....
Rugby Union is much better than League. Rugby more a game to play than watch though.
I'm into hillwalking and a bit of running + cycling rather than team sport at the moment....

Indeed, I can almost measure my interest in football declining by the day. All sports suffer from a certain amount of nonsense surrounding them, but the amount of boring, monotonous crap talking about our 'national game daily just does my head. in.

I'd like England to win by 40 odd points to give Ireland a chance, but as I think that's unlikely I will probably wish for a French victory by 40 points

Slightly more seriously, I've been pretty shock by just how poor England have been this year. They still have some good players, maybe not as many stars as in previous years, but they should not be playing the dull, directionless game that they are. Their forwards aren't as dominant as they used to be, but they are still trying to win the games up front. They need to develop a bit more of a free spirit to make use of the talent available, but that's not going to happen with the current regime.

Yes. Actually I think France are the only team to show much flair this year (and Wales in the last 10 minutes of their match against Scotland). The southern hemisphere nations must be laughing their socks off. I don't know what's wrong with England - no lack of talent as you say. I expect we'll get a change of manager soon.
