There's an extraordinary story unfolding over at the admirable www.quackometer.net.
First of all it was revealed that Charlie's Foundation for Integrated Health, already the subject of a complaint to the Charities Commissionfor its shameless promotion of his political agenda, is under police investigation for alleged fraudulent transactions. As if that wasn't enough, it now appears that the 2005 Smallwood Report on the role of complementary medicine in the NHS, commisioned directly by Prince Charles for the FIH, was financed by...wait for it...the loathesome and spectacularly corrupt Dame Shirley Porter!

Charlie seems to be getting more irrational as he ages. Would someone please explain to this inbred ignoramus that he cannot be a politically neutral heir to the throne/king AND a shill for Big Altie, particularly if his Foundation accepts money from the likes of Dame Shirley.
"If I get rid of the cancer and the person decides they don’t want treatment any more ‐ either they’re too busy, or they’re too mean with their money, or they just think they know better ‐ the cancer often comes back. And if it comes back, I can’t get rid of it a second time. My healing doesn’t work a second time."

Just been reading your links….and remembering the Porter Saga…..and the first thing that strikes me is that this shows just how suspect is the judgement of the man Charles Windsor…..and not just his preference for the old Woo Water…but also his choice of ally.
Still I suppose.. “birds of a feather“…
Whilst wandering around the hallowed halls of Trinity college, Cambridge, HRH was known as 'Dumbo'. This nick name was a twofer. It referred to both the royal ears and intellect. (told to me by a fellowe, who shall remain a nameless)
The last member of the immediate British royal family with an IQ above ambient room temperature was Albert,Prince consort of Queen Victoria, and he died in 1861.![]()

I guess you'd need to attach young Harry to one of those machines they use to shake paint tins. Don't know about Wills, but he looks distressingly like his mother (TWO O levels) who made both Charles and old polo-pony brain look quite bright.
TANGENT:
A serious question: My understanding is red hair is caused by a recessive gene. I there ANY other red hair in the blood line of the British Royal family, or in the Spencer line?
I saw an interview with that appalling red haired neanderthal with whom Diana had an affair. Chap gives cads a bad name.

This is quite a fun article from The Telegraph
Worth reading the whole article but this is the latest comment:
Prince Harry inherited his red hair from the Spencers who are ginger-haired. When his mother, Princess Diana, was a young girl, she had reddish brown hair. Prince Harry also inherited his father, Prince Charles' ears, nose, and close-set eyes.

Thank you. I read it and most of the comments. It was worth the read.
I hadn't realised Winston had red hair. I'm also assuming the person who made the comment that Churchill was "the greatest Englishman who ever lived" had his tongue firmly stapled to his cheek----Or was a 90 year old Tory in the final stages of Altzheimer's..

Unless Charlie's Foundation for Integrated Health presents its accounts for inspection pretty sharpish it looks as though it will be delisted as a charity:

Let's hope so!

The news seems to be getting worse.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2010/ap...arity-arrestedAn aide in Prince Charles's campaign for wider use of complementary medicine in the NHS was arrested at dawn today on suspicion of fraud and money-laundering at the prince's health charity.
A 49-year old man, understood to be a former senior official at the Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health, was taken into custody at a police station in north London. He was arrested alongside a 54-year-old woman, who was being held at the same address.
The arrests follow a police investigation into £300,000 unaccounted for in the books of the charity, of which the Prince is president.
Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear
bright, until you hear them speak.
Hurrah!
Let's all wave bye-bye to the Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health!

I love the way the Foundation is trying to make out that its closure was planned, yet for some strange reason they'd organised a large conference to be held in the summer...
