MMR vaccine saboteur AndrewWakefield has been struck off the medical register by the GMC for serious medical misconduct.
Anyone know if this will affect his practice in the US?

It might have some bearing, but if he still has a Medical Licence for the State that he is practicing in and unless this is revoked by the State then he can still practice.
There is parity between medical training in the US and the UK, but UK doctors who want to work in the States will still have to take qualifying exams for the State(s) in which they wish to practice and they will then be granted a Medical licence to practice.
If Wakefield still has his US medical licence then he can still legally practice there - if on the other hand the State decides to revoke this licence on the basis of the GMC hearing outcome in the UK, then they could revoke his licence, so then he is stuffed for work both in the UK and US!
"He does not have a medical license in the United States, where he is executive director of the Thoughtful House Center for Children in Austin."
