Software to help you pick your lucky days.
furthermore:A transit is an aspect a daily-moving planet makes to one in your birth chart. This particular transit pattern occurs when good transit arcs above a date line 'spill over' a final bad transit below the line. The day after the last bad transit can often be lucky. This software identifies these shapes in your daily transits. All of the planets, not only Jupiter and Venus, have been noted to cause wins.
Impressive, but consider the following scenario:The software was tested in 2002 on the BBC TV2 show, "Dave Gorman's Important Astrological Experiment". The test was that Dave would act on the advice of several astrologers (mainly from London), while his twin brother (20 minutes younger) would not.
The test was to see who would be better off after a 6-week period. During that time Dave took sports bets on two of the lucky days suggested by the program and won a total of UK 1050 Sterling (about $1600). His twin brother did not make any extra money during this time.
I have shelled out $79 for the software which has generated a chart for me. This day, all the transits are positive so I hurry off to the casino, agog with anticipation, accompanied by a friend. As it happens, he also has a copy of the software, but this particular day is not a lucky day for him, on the contrary - his chart recommends that in no way should he consider embarking on any speculative venture at this time - it would be disastrous.
But, I have a brainwave! suppose I tell my friend to mirror my bets (he makes the exact same bets as me) at the roulette table. What will happen? as we both make the same bets either we will both be lucky, or both be unlucky, or both break even, but only *I* am to be lucky this day, *he* is supposed to be unlucky. Whatever the outcome, the predictions are wrong for someone, and there's nothing to stop me from repeating this at every opportunity, so the predictions will continue to be wrong. This apparent contradiction casts doubt in my mind as to the efficacy of astrology as a tool for prediction.
I emailed the proprietor with these reservations, he replied that they were "thought provoking", but concluded: "follow your own transits for 3 months and decide for yourself!"
hmm...
