Well, I have just returned from this. I gave demonstrations over two-days in the Psychology observatory alongside some other researchers from around the country.

I don't know if anyone else has been, or is planning to go (the festival itself runs until the weekend) - but if you have been to something - do tell.

I enjoyed the event in itself, but Aston is not well organised and not well laid out for new people so some were complaining about the lack of signs and last min room changes. Nonetheless, worthwhile in and of itself.

I noticed one cancellation from the 'skeptics roadshow' - i have no idea who is behind this, what was planned or what it was about. Anyone know? I also just watched the news tonight and saw the excellent Petra Boynton on there (an Aston graduate I believe). I did not know she was going to be there otherwise i would have tried to catch up to her and introduce myself. Ah well, next time perhaps.
